The BKNJ2 Yahoo Discussion Board is a CLOSED board. This means you must be approved by the Board's moderator in order to participate. Once you sign up, a message will be sent to the moderator, who will either approve or deny your request. Only BKNJ2 members and closely affiliated "friends" of the chapter will be permitted access. We ask that you create or edit your profile to show something as to your identity as some user names have no relationship to the party in question. You need not use your "real" name, however initials, department, badge #, something to let us know who you are at a glance

IF YOU HAVE A YAHOO ID or Yahoo E-MAIL ADDRESS

Click the Sign In button in the center of the upper portion of the screen

Enter your Yahoo ID / E-mail address and password

The main page of our discussion group will appear

Click on JOIN THIS GROUP BUTTON on the right side of the screen

Fill out the information requested, being sure to include an identifying name or initials or combination in your profile.

A request will be sent to the moderator for acceptance or denial into the group discussion board.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A YAHOO ID or Yahoo E-MAIL ADDRESS

Click New User? Sign Up in the center of the upper portion of the screen

A Yahoo Groups Enrollment page appears.

Complete the information as requested

IF YOU CAN WNAT A YAHOO ID ONLY WITHOUT GETTING AN E-MAIL ADDRESS BE SURE TO UNCHECK THE BOX
THAT SAYS "CREATE MY FREE YAHOO E-MAIL ADDRESS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE 1ST SECTION.

Once complete, click the "I AGREE" button at the bottom of the page

You will be taken to a "Registration Complete" page with your information. Print same for your records

Click "Continue to Yahoo Groups" button on lower right portion of screen

You should be back at the BKNJ2 Discussion Board.

Now follow directions listed above for those having Yahoo ID/E-mail addresses

TO UPDATE YOUR YAHOO ID PROFILE

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/blueknightsnj2/

Sign in to the page

Click "My Account" next to YAHOO GROUPS logo on top of page

You will be asked to verify your password on a new screen

Your Account Info will be displayed

On the right side of the screen, click on EDIT/CREAT PROFILES

A Public Profile page will appear

Click on "Edit" next to your profile in the yellow shaded box

Your basic profile will appear.

Click on the "Edit Profile Information" near the top of the page in the center

Enter/Modify the Information and then GO TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE AND CLICK "SAVE CHANGES"

Your profile should now be updated.
