Erle left us peacefully on Saturday, April 3, 2010. Erle was born in New York City and was a lifetime Jersey City Resident. Erle worked for the Hudson County Sheriff Department as a Detective for 37 years retiring in 2003. He was a Navy Veteran from 1952 to 1958. He was a long time member of BKNJ2, F.O.P Lodge 336 of Hudson County, PBA Chapter 600 and the Honor Legion of NJ.
